KENNETH MASON, CHAIR
Director, Urban Initiatives at Southern Regional Education Board
Member, Georgia Board of Education District 5
In addition to being a founding board member of Higher Ground, Kenneth was also a founding board member and an advisory council chair for KIPP Strive Academy. He teaches high school students on a civil rights emergent experience called Sojourn to the Past. Kenneth has been a community liaison and robotic engineering consultant for Berkeley National Laboratory and served as a corps member adviser for Teach For America. Kenneth earned a BS from Hendrix College and a Master’s of Teaching/Education degree from the University of San Francisco. He, his wife and son live in Atlanta.

ASANTE BRADFORD
Project Manager, Digital Entertainment at Georgia Department of Economic Development
Asante provides leadership in the Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem of Georgia at the Georgia Department of Economic Development. In his role Asante explores how interactive media technologies can enhance, expand, and reconfigure arts and entertainment. Prior to his time at GDEcD Asante served as a Festival Director for the Independent Black Film Festival and as a Web Developer at ADAM. Asante is a graduate of UC San Francisco where he received a B.S. in Marketing. He resides in Atlanta with his son.
