William H. Teasley, MEd
William Teasley is the Founder and President of the Higher Ground Education, Inc. William has spent the greater part of his life looking for ways to open doors to opportunities for those who come behind him. His passion for increasing educational access by leveraging innovations and technology led him to found Higher Ground after his time at the Atlanta Education Fund, Market Street Services, Bridges Corporation and Lockheed Martin. William has a Masters in Education Technology Leadership form George Washington University and a Bachelors in Marketing from Boston College.
William oversees the creative direction of Higher Ground, while focusing in on program, partnership and business development. William is a father of 2, actively involved in his community, a closet techie, comic book collector, home brewer and dog lover.

Carol Crumby
Carol has spent her entire career working with communities and in education to transform communities and the lives of its youngest residents. Carol, a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, retired from the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta in March 2012 but could not restrain her passion for community and child development. Always looking for an opportunity to help those in need, Carol is now focused on helping children graduate prepared for careers and life.
Carol's primary role is to ensure the successful implementation of Hype and expanding these opportunities to Dekalb County students. Carol is a cat person, very active in her community and in several organizations in Dekalb County.
